Southwest Airlines is having a “Catch a Sale Fare, Go See your BOO!” promotion, with discounted tickets as low as $59. The sale ends on October 24 at 11:59pm PST, and offers discounts on travel through February 12, 2025.

Travel + Leisure spotted a variety of one-way deals in the fare sale including:

  • Austin, TX to Nashville, TN from $89
  • Charlotte, NC to Baltimore/Washington, MD from $59
  • Columbus, OH to Atlanta, GA from $59
  • Las Vegas, NV to Los Angeles, CA from $59

Before booking, shoppers should carefully review the sale’s terms and conditions as there are restrictions on booking dates during the Thanksgiving and Christmas travel periods, and 21-day advance purchase is required for the discounted fares.

For travelers unsure of where to visit, Southwest has a helpful “low fare finder” tool that shows the available discounted fares from a designated market. For example, by selecting Dallas (Love Field), TX, a major Southwest hub, travelers can see that the sale offers discounted flights to New Orleans and San Antonio for $59, as well as discounted flights to Atlanta, GA and Salt Lake City, UT for $89.

Chicago’s Midway Airport, another Southwest hub, has discounted $59 fares to Cincinnati, Detroit, Louisville, and Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Travelers exploring the Hawaiian Islands throughout December and January can access special $49 inter-island fares, with flights from Honolulu (Oahu) to Hilo, Maui, Kona, and Kauai included.

Southwest has been on the move with other promotions for travelers, including special savings on car rentals from Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, and more throughout the fall and winter.

While October may be the spooky season, it is also a season for airline savings. The months of September, October, and early November are known as a “shoulder season” which means a lower period for airline sales, when travelers can find extra deals as travel companies look to fill seats.
