Domestic flight deals are everywhere this winter, and low-cost Spirit Airlines has one-way tickets bookable to popular sunny destinations from $45.
Travelers must act fast to take advantage of the deals from the carrier’s “Book a Change of Scenery” sale, which ends tonight, Nov. 12, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Flights require booking seven days in advance for travel between now and Feb. 28, 2025, with all Sunday travel excluded.
Travel + Leisure found the best one-way flights bookable for just $45 including taxes and fees, though a full list of deals is available directly on Spirit’s website:
- Atlanta (ATL) to/from Philadelphia (PHL), Minneapolis (MSP), and New Orleans (MSY)
- Boston (BOS) to/from Myrtle Beach (MYR) and Orlando (MCO)
- Charlotte (CLT) to/from Tampa (TPA) and Miami (MIA)
- Las Vegas (LAS) to/from Chicago (ORD) and Boise (BOI)
- Los Angeles (LAX) to/from Reno (RNO) and San Jose (SJC)
- Columbus (CMH) to/from New York (LGA) and Las Vegas (LAS)
No promo code is required to find these sale fares, though the promotion is blacked out around peak winter holiday travel dates, from Nov. 26 to 27, Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, and Dec. 21 to Jan. 3, 2025.
The airline, known for its budget-friendly fares, continues to downsize its route network and focus on flights that are in high demand among its customers. Just last week, the airline eliminated two dozen routes before heading into the off-peak winter season.
To make up for these losses, Spirit has recently updated its fare classes to offer more amenities such as seat assignments and carry-on bags to compete with legacy carriers. Additionally, most change and cancellation fees were removed earlier in 2024. Spirit and Frontier have also revived merger talks from 2022 to combine into a major ultra-low-cost carrier, and ultimately, the fifth-largest airline in the U.S.
