Chase Members Can Score Up to 20,000 Points Towards Travel Bookings Right Now

Booking through Chase Travel just got more rewarding with several new promotions for eligible cardholders.

“No matter where your next adventure takes you, use the Chase Travel portal to book hotels, flights, and more,” the company shared on its website. “Earning points through the portal can unlock future opportunities for you to take trips in one platform.”

By enrolling for this new promotion, cardholders who haven’t used the booking portal since August 25, 2022, can earn a significant number of points on eligible travel of $500 or more:

• Earn 20,000 bonus points by booking a hotel through Chase Travel
• Earn 10,000 bonus points when booking flights, car rentals, cruises, activities, or tours through Chase Travel

To qualify, travel bookings must be made by January 31, 2025, and travel must be completed anytime from now until August 31, 2025. These bonus points will be added to the Ultimate Rewards balance within eight weeks after the trip is completed, according to the issuer. 

Chase Ultimate Rewards points are some of the most valuable travel rewards currencies, though their value can vary from one cent to over five cents per point, depending on how they’re redeemed. Transferring points to Chase’s travel partners, such as Air Canada Aeroplan or World of Hyatt, allows cardholders to maximize the value when booking flights and hotels.

Even for cardholders who don’t qualify for the initial promotion, the company has additional promotions to earn rewards. Cardholders can earn 10,000 bonus points or a $100 statement credit on their next travel booking, but they must register prior to booking.

Chase Travel is popular among cardholders, allowing them to apply as little as one point toward their reservation. These promotions also come as Chase Travel added Southwest flights to its booking platform earlier this year, enabling cardholders to book and redeem points for tickets on the well-known domestic airline.
