A February getaway just got cheaper.

Frontier Airlines recently announced a discount promotion with 100 percent off of the base fares for selected February flights. Travelers are just responsible for paying the taxes and fees, and can enter the promotion code SAVENOW to score the savings.

Travel + Leisure spotted a variety of warm-weather destinations that the promotional code can be applied to including Dallas, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix

Travelers looking to utilize the sale must purchase tickets by 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The promotional code provides a 100 percent discount on base fares from Monday through Thursday, and a 50 percent discount on fares on Saturdays.

Travelers should carefully review the sales terms and conditions, as there are several blackout dates and restrictions. While the 100 percent discount off base fares is enticing, travelers are still responsible for any government taxes and fees. The fares also do not include checked bags, carry-on suitcases, or advanced seat assignment, all of which are available for an extra fee.

The sale also has a long list of routes that are not part of the offer, including Atlanta to/from Denver, and Orlando to/from Philadelphia. A full list of the unavailable markets is on Frontier’s website.

Despite all of the restrictions and limited markets, the fare sale can be lucrative with savings. For example, a flight from Cleveland, OH to Tampa, FL would have cost $93.88, but with the promotional code applied the price drops  to $38.30, just the taxes and fees, over $50 in savings.

For travelers feeling lucky in the New Year, Frontier is giving away a year of free flights in an online contest that ends on January 31.
