The first-ever Sky Club at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) officially opened today, Dec. 18, Delta Air Lines shared with T+L. This new space, measuring over 14,000 square feet, is located in the newly expanded Concourse A on the mezzanine level.

“It’s always exciting to plant roots in a new market and introduce Delta Sky Club to a new group of customers,” the airline’s vice president of Delta Sky Club and lounge experience, Claude Rossell, said in a statement. “We can’t wait for our Charlotte guests to experience the amenities and hospitality that have made our clubs so popular across the country.”

Travelers can take in airfield views from a bar overlooking the lower concourse of one of the nation’s busiest airports. The new Delta Sky Club can accommodate up to 246 guests and offers a variety of amenities, including soundproof phone booths, cozy lounge chairs, and an expanded office space designed for quiet use.

Eligible Delta passengers may enter the Sky Club up to three hours before their flight departure while connecting passengers are granted access at any time on the same travel day.

Access is given to those with a Sky Club membership, a Delta Reserve credit card, or an Amex Platinum card. However, starting February 1, 2025, Delta will introduce limits on lounge visits, capping access at 15 visits per year for Reserve cardholders and 10 visits per year for Amex Platinum cardholders to address overcrowding. That said, unlimited access will still be available to cardholders who spend at least $75,000 annually on their accounts.
